"The 2004 vintage (four star) is a deeply coloured blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, grown at Onetangi, on Waiheke Island, and matured in two-year-old French (70 percent) and American oak casks.
Perfumed, with slightly coconutty wood aromas, it is generous and warm, with ripe black currant, plum and spice flavours, oak complexity, and structure to mature well. Best drinking 2007+.” |
