Organic, estate-grown Stonyridge Vineyard, Waiheke Island, New Zealand
Description:
New Zealand's first Rhone Ranger wine, made with the classic ”GSM” (Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah) varieties of the south of France.
For hundreds of years, pilgrims have passed through Provence, Languedoc, and Rousillon on their way to Spain and the church of Santiago de Compostel. Their symbols are the cross and the scallop shell which appear on wall frescoes throughout the region, indicating that pilgrims are welcome and, more importantly, safe.
